This online part catalog for 30,000+ vehicles lets users find products using a multi faceted search interface with
a heavy mobile focus giving the app a native feel even in mid-range Smartphone browsers.
Thanks to the UX/Performance accomplished, the competitive edge against existing catalogs was immediately obvious
among stakeholders, making the frontend architecture choices first class in the project's success.
The API was beautifuly built by the internal team at the client, interfacing a large
Microsoft SQL database using
Swagger for
RESTful endpoints. A thin middleware was put in place to allow for
Server Side Rendering ,
Server Side reCAPTCHA validation (to prevent stateless API scrapping),
Caching and
Data Transformations to keep the UI logic as simple as possile.

With 6,000+ publications and the recent move to adopt the SharePoint 2016 platform, the first test was to bring
their most used app to life in its new home.
Using out of the box features for configuration, a custom frontend was built to give the application a look removed
from the platform's traditional publishing pages.
The migration of the entire existing catalog was automated and the application allows fine grained download access
based on different membership levels for its users

So many intranets in a box, but what happens when the client wants it all custom? With a pure client-side frontend
solution, this project was able to keep their existing platform free from .NET customizations making their migration
path in the future a breeze.
The goal was to discontinue use of Level CMS where several custom applications and integrations were running. By
moving these integrations to different SharePoint features such as
BCS ,
User Profiles and
Service Jobs the amount of custom .NET code was reduced drastically.

to how the company is doing financially to a Top Partner that uses the Matter and Billing systems to work on a

The biggest in its market, this 2000 employee client wanted a fresh, modern and quick to go live intranet. After
being stuck two years with a project that never went live.
The mood became even more reserved when I decided to do a full rewrite without reusing any of the existing solution,
but quickly turned around when the biggest piece of the project was demoed on week 3 of the delivery phase. It
was definetely not the easy path (full rewrite) but the most rewarding one.
The quick turnaround made most departments to call for a series of new features, which are still being added months
after the original project was completed, from migrating old apps to the new platform to creating new solutions
that helped their teams to work better together

After going about with a couple Intranets in a Box with not success, this client wanted to see the elusive intranet
project go live in a short schedule, by presenting the first iteration with a fully funcional custom design, corporate
communications portal and homepage.
Following a beta go live, a few more pieces of the SharePoint Platform were integrated via REST API to the solution,
namely
Delve for User Profiles and
Office Video for its multimedia gallery.
